1. Health and Nutrition Outreach Workers- We are currently accepting applications for this postion
The Urban Sprouts Health and Nutrition Outreach Team employs parents and students from our six partner schools to serve as peer educators, working within the community at large on pressing health and nutrition issues. This team is trained by Urban Sprouts staff to lead cooking demonstrations, fruit and vegetable tastings, and nutritional activities at school events, community events, and local farmers markets.

2. Family Cooking Class

3. Farmers-In-Residence
Grow your own food right on the school campus. Partner with Urban Sprouts staff to plant, nurture, and grow food for you and your family. Space is given on a first come, first serve basis. Families will receive their own plot, all seeds and starts, tools, and water...everything you need to grow your own nutritious and tasty vegetables and herbs. No experience needed, we provide all the necessary training and expertise.
